Personalty: Awkward, smart, scientific, friendly, and a bit arrogant. Barry is very heroic and wants to help others regardless of morale standing. He abey's all laws save vigilantism and could be called a goodie-two-shoes. He is fueled by his loved ones, if they don't believe in him he doesn't believe in himself. His judgement can sometimes be clouded by determination or his love for iris, but this has shown to be the way he overcomes great challenges. He feels large amounts of guilt if anyone is hurt because he wasn't fast enough, often needing a push from his peers to break himself from it. Barry is a true hero and protector of his city.

History: Barry grew up as an awkward kid constantly being picked on by others his age, his mother seemed to be the only one that comforted him in times of distress. Even though he wasn't the most popular at school he had a loving and caring family to fall back on. That all changed when a phantom yellow lightning murdered his mother, his father taking the fall even with the boys protests. The courts didn't listen to barry, disregarding his story as a child's attempt to shield his father. His dad was locked away in iron heights prison and barry was left to be taken care of by the west family. Joe tried his hardest to comfort and father the boy, but barry didn't stop lashing out at him until he matured and realized it wasn't his fault.

He became a forensic scientist for CCPD, excelling in the field so much he put the departments detectives to shame. On the night of the accelerator explosion he was struck by lightning and fell into a coma. He awoke 7 months later in Star Labs with a host of abilities, most notably superspeed. He was taken under the wing of the mysterious docter wells, saving people from other metahumans created in the accident with his help.

(Major Power) Superspeed: Barry can run at up to 1000mph, giving him the ability to break the sound barrier and run up walls and across water. While running he perceives things much faster, allowing him more control over his speed then others. This also grants him a very high metabolism which he can use to quickly burn off toxins.

(Minor Power) Healing Factor: Barry can heal minor wounds in a few minutes and major ones in a an hour or two.
